A Rafael Gonçalves .D T 2'
Rafael Gonçalves is a Software Developer, with an interest in Systems Programming and Back-End Development.
He uses "he/him/his" pronouns.
He has accrued experience as a Linux Systems Administrator in a couple of different forms: as the architect and lead maintainer of his domestic network (in which this website is hosted), as the technical admin of a movement's internal social platform (based on HumHub), and as the admin of a closed group's Minecraft server.
His main workstation is a Lenovo Thinkpad X230 laptop with an Intel i5-3320M CPU, integrated graphics, and 8GB of RAM (1GB of this is corrupt, as verified through the use of Memtest86+ - this portion of memory was disabled manually through kernel parameters).
He is currently teaching classes on Digital Systems and Computer Architecture, on Installation, Comissioning and Maintenance of IT systems, and on Data Communications at ESMT as part of the IT vocational course.
He is concurrently working on his MSc dissertation on Electrical and Computer Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico.
In his free time, he likes to develop fonts, as well as geometry-based tools for voxel-based games.
